KIRSTEN CESPED, P.T.
Physical Therapist, Owner
Kirsten received a Bachelor’s of Science and a Physical Therapy Degree both from Hunter College. She has been practicing manual physical therapy in New York City for over 20 years. In these years, Kirsten has taken an extensive number of courses in manual therapy, soft tissue and joint mobilization, musculoskeletal evaluation, myofascial and trigger point release techniques, ergonomics, and exercise prescription; all in order to further her education. She has completed her training with the Institute of Physical Art (IPA). In addition to completing her training, she is skilled in the application of kinesiotape (KT). Kirsten is certified in FAKTR, an instrument designed to assist in the musculoskeletal/ fascial conditions.
As a result of her extensive training, Kirsten has the knowledge and skill set to treat a mosaic of physical conditions including; orthopedic and sports injuries, neurological conditions, and repetitive stress injuries. Her dynamic approach in evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal imbalances allows her to assist her patients in achieving their goals in rehabilitation.
